Description
We are a very international family: I am French, my husband is Swedish, and we live in the United States! Our daughter, who is 3 and a half years old, has the 3 nationalities, and speaks the 3 languages.
Because she gets to speak English at school while we mostly speak Swedish (or English) at home, we would prefer a French-speaking au-pair. We will however consider Swedish candidates as well.

Dear au-pair,
We are a French-Swedish family living in Carson City, Nevada - about 4 hours East of San Francisco and less than 30 minutes from Lake Tahoe. Because my husband and I travel extensively for work, we are looking for an au-pair to help us look after our 3 and a half years old daughter, especially during the rare occurrences when we both have to travel at the same time. Our daughter goes to preschool during weekdays, and we are always at home to take care of her on week-ends. What we really need help with is: - preparing her for school and taking her there in the morning (weekdays); - taking her back home in the evening, playing with her, preparing her dinner and putting her to bed (weekdays except Friday); - watching her 2-3 hours on Saturday or Sunday mornings (flexible). This means that our au-pair will have a lot of time during the day for other activities than child care. It is thus important that the candidate we recruit has a well-defined project (e.g. register at the local university) before they arrive. Other important selection criterias will be: - that you are a native French or Swedish speaker (see below); - a responsible person with high motivation to work with children and good driving experience; - a physically active person who will enjoy hanging out with us on all our outdoor activities!
