My common-law husband and I are 28 years old and have 3 boys ages 3,4 and 7. Our 7 year old is in grade one and the 4 year old will be going into kindergarden in September 2012. We are a very easy going and laid back family who like to entertain and hang out with family and friends. We have good senses of humor. Our boys love to play outside with all the neighbour kids or curl up on the couch and watch a movie. We want someone who can play and have fun but also be an authority figure and help our children stick to the rules and routines. We live in a 3 floor townhome and there is a private bedroom on the bottom floor for a potential au pair where a TV with cable and wifi will be provided. The rest of the house will be shared. There is a full bathroom upstairs that can be for our au pair. Our home is approx 1800 sq ft and has central air conditioning. I like to keep my home clean and organized. We have one cat. We are 1 hr and 20 mins from Vancouver and there is a city bus stop directly behind our home. We both work Monday-Friday, roughly the same hours. This is our first time looking for an au pair. We are excited to have a live-in au pair that we can welcome to our family and get to know.
