I am a 21 year old sometimes college student. I plan on getting a degree in speech pathology or a related field. I work full time at a retail store, but have plenty of experience with children. I have seven younger half, step, or adopted siblings whose ages range from 3 to 17. I also worked at a daycare for nine months, primarily with children ages 12 months to 3 years. I love to cook and would love cooking with your family. I enjoy nature, hiking, reading, and have just learned to sew. I almost always have a book with me. I am currently reading a science fiction series called "A Song of Ice and Fire", by George R. R. Martin. I grew up in various places around the United States and I have always wanted to go overseas but I have never had the opportunity. I have a large, extended family and I would enjoy having multiple children to take care of. I have basic language skills in Spanish, I am studying French with my friend, and I know basic American Sign Language, mainly finger-spelling and a few odd signs. I've always enjoyed being around children and I have always wanted to travel the world but never have had the chance. Combining the two things seems like a perfect opportunity to learn a new language, explore the world, and spend time with children. Most of my siblings are teenagers now, and I've missed being around young children.
